Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DevFrame ("the Service"), a web-based App Store screenshot maker tool operated at devframe.app. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

DevFrame is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that allows users to create, edit, and export App Store screenshots. The Service offers both free and paid (Pro) features. Project data is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB and is not uploaded to our servers.

2. Account and Authentication

Certain features require signing in with a Google account. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.

3. Pro License

3.1 Purchase

The Pro license is available as a one-time purchase of $4.99 (tax inclusive), processed through Stripe. Upon successful payment, the Pro license is activated immediately.

3.2 License Terms

• The Pro license is non-transferable and is tied to the email address used at the time of purchase.
• The license grants you access to Pro features for the lifetime of the Service.
• We reserve the right to modify Pro features over time, but will not remove core functionality that existed at the time of your purchase.

3.3 Refund Policy

Because the Pro license is a digital product delivered instantly, refunds are generally not available. However, if you experience a legitimate issue, you may contact us at contact@devframe.app within 14 days of purchase to request a refund. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share, resell, or redistribute your Pro license to others.
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of the operator. Screenshots and designs you create using the Service belong to you. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro license ($4.99).
• We are not responsible for any loss of data stored locally on your device (IndexedDB, localStorage).

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your Pro license will be revoked and no refund will be issued unless required by applicable law.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
